Merry Christmas 2010

Whew, this has been a busy year for the Harrison Family!

In January David awoke to "Happy Birthday!” pause, pause “I'm in Labor!" We celebrated his 35th birthday in the hospital welcoming our third child, Sophia Faith Harrison. It was a special day celebrating the birth of Sophia and having her born on her daddy's birthday.

What a joy it was meeting her and having her become a part of our little family. She is such a happy baby. Her smile can light the darkest place.

Miles and Hope have adjusted so well to the new baby. They are both so loving and protective of their little sister. It blesses me to watch them interact and grow together. These times are priceless. David and I share in the love and joy our children bring to us.

David and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. We had a long weekend get a way. It was a wonderful time of rest and relaxing with one another. Focusing on each other without the interruptions of the babies is something I look forward to every year.

Miles had his 4th birthday this year. For his birthday he went to work with his daddy. Words cannot describe how happy he was to go with his daddy to work. He had been looking forward to that for two years. He is growing up so quickly. He loves to pretend to be a super hero or animal. I never know from day to day what he will be or what he will want me to call him.

Hope turned 3. WOW! Our little girl is really growing. She loves to play dress up and carry Lamby everywhere. She also loves to take her brothers toys. She is such a little servant. She always helps me put the dishes a way and pick up the house. She is a sweet and loving little girl.

We had our week long family trip to the beach. Miles and Hope love the sand and waves. They ask if we are going to the beach every day. Sophia enjoyed eating the sand! YUK.

David was so gracious to allow me to enjoy a weekend away with the girls. A weekend away with friends refreshes a mom. It was wonderful!

David is still working at TIAA-CREF. He enjoys helping people with finances. I'm working part-time at CMC as a nurse. I am thankful I can help those who are sick and weary.

We are anticipating the New Year and what the Lord has in store for our family. I know it will be good!

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”
1 Corinthians 2:9

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful Year!

Love,
David, Penny, Miles, Hope and Sophia
